COCONUT DIETHANOLAMINE (CDE-80)
DESCRIPTION: Coconut Diethanolamine (CDE-80) is a non-ionic alkanolamine surfactant and emulsifier derived from renewable coconut fatty acids and diethanolamine. It is widely used in personal care and cleaning formulations to boost foam, viscosity, and cleansing performance. CDE-80 is a multifunctional ingredient valued for its anti-static, thickening, stabilizing, foaming, dispersing, and cleansing properties.
It also acts as a solubiliser for fragrances and essential oils.
It blends well with anionic surfactants and contributes to emolliency and mild neutralizing effects. Additionally, CDE-80 exhibits re-fatting properties that help retain skin and hair moisture, reducing the dryness commonly caused by surfactants—making it suitable for gentle cleansing products.
APPLICATIONS: Shampoo & Body Wash, Hand Wash Liquid Soaps, Dishwashing Liquids, Car Wash Detergents, Multi-purpose Cleaners, Foam Boosting Agent, Emulsifier & Stabiliser.
